LLC Finder is free to use. To pay for it, some of our links to business formation and filing services are affiliate links.

What that means

If you follow one of these links and buy a service, the provider may pay us a commission. We don't add anything to the price you pay; prices and discounts are set by the provider. We are not paid for anything else on the site: state pages, guides and search results are the same whether or not a partner link is shown.

How you can tell

Every partner link has a short note right below it, “Affiliate link: we may earn a commission”, that links back to this page. Links to official state registries, the IRS and other government sources are never affiliate links.

What we don't do

• We don't change the facts on a page to suit a partner. Fees, filing names and rules come from the official sources we cite.
• We don't hide that you can often do it yourself. Where a state or the IRS lets you file directly, sometimes for free, our pages say so, for example for an EIN.
• We don't share your searches or any personal data with partners. A partner only learns that a visitor came from LLC Finder when you click its link.
