Privacy Policy
Short version: you don't need an account, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics run without cookies on our own server.
No accounts
You can use LLC Finder without signing up or logging in. We don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the site.
Analytics
We use Matomo, an open-source analytics tool that we run on our own server, to understand which pages are useful. It is configured not to set cookies. It records information such as the pages you view, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and the search terms you enter on our site. We use this only to improve the site; we don't sell it or use it for advertising.
Hosting and content delivery
The site is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM (Neue Medien Münnich) in Germany. Like any web server, it processes technical request data such as your IP address, the requested page, date and time, and browser information in order to deliver the page and keep the service secure.
Requests pass through Cloudflare, a content delivery and security network. Cloudflare processes the same technical request data to deliver pages quickly and protect the site against attacks and abuse, and may set strictly necessary security cookies for that purpose.
Before a live registry lookup we use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the request comes from a person, not an automated script. Turnstile evaluates technical browser signals. Once you pass, we set one strictly necessary cookie (lf_human) for one hour, so the check does not repeat on every search. It holds only an expiry time and a signature.
Searches
When you search for a company, your search term and the selected state are sent to our business data provider to look up public records. We store search terms and results in our database for a limited time so that repeated searches are faster. Please don't enter personal information you don't want processed this way.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to official state registries and other government websites. When you follow those links, the privacy policy of that site applies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Because we don't run accounts, we usually hold very little that can be linked to you.
